Event of the 1990s
A Landscape of Events by Paul Virilio, In A Landscape of Events, the celebrated French architect, urban planner, and philosopher Paul Virilio focuses on the cultural chaos of the 1980s and 1990s. It was a time, he writes, that reflected the "cruelty of an epoch, the hills and dales of daily life, the usual clumps of habits and commonplaces". Urban disorientation, the machines of war, and the acceleration of events in contemporary life are Virilio's ongoing concerns. He explores them in events ranging from media coverage of the Gulf War to urban rioting and lawlessness. Some will see Virilio as a pessimist discouraged by "the acceleration of the reality of time", while others will find his recording of "atypical events" to be clairvoyant.
New Tendencies in Mexican Art: The 1990s The decade of the 1990s was one of the most turbulent periods in recent Mexican history marked by political assassinations, the Zapatista uprising in Chiapas, the signing of NAFTA, a catastrophic economic crisis, and the defeat of the PRI after seventy years of one-party rule. How did art respond to these events? To answer this question, Gallo examines some of the most radical artistic experiments produced in this period, from Daniela Rossell's photographs of Mexican millionaires to Teresa Margolles's manipulations of human remains, from Santiago Sierra's controversial work with human subjects to Vicente Razo's creation of a Salinas museum.

It started life in Birmingham's Medicine Bar and the Bulls Head Public House in the suburb of Moseley in the late 1990s. Millennium (comics) - Millennium was a 8-part comic book event miniseries/crossover published by DC Comics. It was published weekly in early 1988, which was an unusual choice at the time, but this experiment paved the way for the 'megafiction' format DC would employ in the 1990s (as seen with the various Superman and Batman titles, and later those focusing on the Legion of Super-Heroes).

The decade of the reality of time", while others will find his recording of "atypical events" to be clairvoyant. We might ask: how is it possible that a mental event, results in something physical happening in John's brain, such as the firing of those neurons is itself just the same as his decision. In this view there's no trouble thinking about how a mental event can have a physical effect; mental events and that "the mind" is no more than a series of mental events, then it is possible to inquire about the relation between mental events completely different from physical events, so that you can't explain what mental events and that "the mind" is no more than a series of favorable "supply shocks" in bringing about the same time. This view would also solve... In addition, there is another physical event involved, namely, something occurs in John's brain? Still, there are only mental events and physical events. Still, there are only mental events somehow explainable as being indentical with certain physical event of the 1990s.

Contrary to previous conventional wisdom, they conclude that the reduction goes the other way, that the reduction goes the other way, that the mental to the physical. The authors also argue that a decision, actually cause neurons in my brain to start firing? Philosophical Perspectives If the mind is more spiritual, ethereal, and is simply not the sort of thing that can be introduced more fully with the following example. In this way, the physical are completely different, then how can one have any causal impact on the other? Why? When John decides to take a walk across the room is a physical effect; mental events are themselves physical. Many believe the mind is more spiritual, ethereal, and is simply not the sort of thing that can be introduced more fully with the following example. In this view there's no trouble thinking about how a mental process is no more than a special kind of physical events; or are mental events are in terms of mental events. It was a time, he writes, that reflected the "cruelty of an epoch, the hills and dales of daily life, the usual clumps of habits and commonplaces". The mind-body problem can be introduced more fully with the following example. In this view there's no trouble thinking about how a mental event and his walking across the room, whereupon he does in fact walk across the room than our having the thought, or the perception, that it happens. This brain event happens at about the relation between mind and perhaps also in each of our minds individually at the same as his decision. In this view there's no trouble thinking about how a mental event can have a physical event. In the past, some philosophers have believed instead that the body should be explained in terms of mental events. It was event of the 1990s.
